I never took the chance to thank everyone who came to my showing of "Forget Fairytale" prints at Theatre IV, the Children's Theater of Virginia, on Nov. 6. Well, I am thanking you now! The show went extremely well. I got exposure that allowed me to introduce my work to a whole new audience, passed out many business cards, and even sold a few pieces. I also sold 'zines* containing "Forget Fairytale" comics at the Richmond 'Zine Fest the next day. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend in the history of my newish comic. I can't believe it isn't even a year old yet, but is already starting to receive compliments and recognition!
