Christine Stoddard is a writer and interdisciplinary artist from Arlington, VA. She started writing and illustrating her comic, "Forget Fairytales," in January 2009. Her creations have appeared in a wide variety of venues, both online and in print, as well as in physical exhibits and theaters. I'm Alice in Wonderland incarnate. Even at my most cynical moments, I still see beauty around me. Perhaps that's because I have an unconventional sense of aesthetics. I cherish what many deem plain or even ugly. But so little in this world matches society's narrow definitions of beauty that, according to those standards at least, there's more to hate than love. And despite my sarcastic comments from time to time, I'm a lover, not a hater.
